Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of training motivation of the Noren Tirta Buana Musi Rawas Swimming Club athletes during the Covid-19 pandemic, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The type of research used in this research is descriptive. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a validity of 0.953 and a reliability of 0.955. The research sample was the athletes of the Noren Tirta Buana Swimming Club in Musi Rawas u12 – u15 years as many as 20 people. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with percentages. The results of the study found that the level of motivation for athletes to exercise at the Noren Tirta Buana Musi Rawas Swimming Club during the Covid-19 Pandemic which was included in the very high category was 15%, the high category was 10%, the medium category was 50%, the low category was 20%. , and very low category by 5%. And from these results, it can be concluded that the motivation of athletes to take part in training at the Noren Tirta Buana Musi Rawas Swimming Club during the Covid-19 Pandemic was mostly moderate
